V.d. 43rd Annual International Festival – The CVB Advisory Board has recommended to approve sponsorship in the amount of $5,000 as well as funding in the amount of $500 towards meals, both to be paid out of Special Events with an additional $1,500 in Grow the 580 gift certificates. The event is expecting 25,000 local participants, 5,000 regional participants, and 500 out of state participants. The event is expecting 100 room nights. The funding formula showed a value of $5,000 for this event. The 43rd Annual International Festival is scheduled for September 23-25, 2022.
Kiowa Comanche Apache Indian Veterans Powwow – The CVB Advisory Council has recommended to approve funding in the amount of $2,500 to be paid directly to the Coliseum with an additional $800 in Grow the 580 gift certificates. The event is expecting 1500 local participants, 500 regional participants, and 100 out of state participants. The event is expecting 50 room nights. The funding formula showed a value of $3,300 for this event. The KCA Indian Veterans Powwow is scheduled for September 24, 2022. USACi World Finals - The CVB Advisory Council has recommended to table this event, requested a budget for review, and confirm last year’s funding amount. 3-13 FA Reunion- The CVB Advisory Council has recommended to approve funding in the amount of $2,395 to be paid out of special events with an additional $500 in Grow the 580 gift certificates. The event is expecting 11 local participants, 2 regional participants, and 47 out of state participants. The event is expecting 117 room nights. The funding formula showed a value of $3,970 for this event. The 3-13 FA Reunion is scheduled for September 22-25, 2022. Kidz Con Oklahoma (4B for Hope) - The CVB Advisory Council has recommended to approve funding in the amount of $1,500 paid directly to the Coliseum. The event is expecting 300 local participants, 250 regional participants, and 100 out of state participants. The event is expecting 24 room nights. The funding formula showed a value of $1,540 for this event. The Kidz Con Oklahoma is scheduled for October 1, 2022. SWOCC Corvette Kickoff Classic - The CVB Advisory Council has recommended to approve funding in the amount of $3,000 to be paid out of Special Events with an additional $1,000 in Grow the 580 gift certificates. The event is expecting 200 local participants, 70 regional participants, and 130 out of state participants. The event is expecting 175 room nights. The funding formula showed a value of $4,550. The SWOCC Corvette Kickoff Classic is scheduled for March 21-23, 2023. Oklahoma Arts Conference Proposal – The CVB Advisory Council has recommended to approve funding in the amount of $8,000 to $10,000 at President’s discretion. |
