V.a. Consider acceptance of the March 27, 2023, Board of Directors Meeting Minutes.

V.d. d. Lawton Rangers Rodeo- The CVB Advisory Council has recommended to approve funding in the amount of $7,000 with a contingency of available funds. The event is expecting 30,000 local participants, 10,000 regional participants, and 1,000 out of state participants. The event is expecting 300 room nights. The funding formula showed a value of $7,500 for this event.  The Lawton Rangers Rodeo is Scheduled for August 9-12, 2023.

e. Western Swing Music Society of the Southwest- The CVB Advisory Council has recommended to approve funding in the amount of $3,600 to be paid out of the Coliseum with a contingency of available funds. The event is expecting 36 local participants, 88 regional participants, and 224 out of state participants. The event is expecting 400 room nights. The funding formula showed a value of $6,800 for this event.  The Western Swing Music Society is scheduled for July 13-15, 2023.

f. Paradise Concerts: Mother’s Day Show “The Power of Love”- The CVB Advisory Council has recommended to deny funding of this event. Paradise Concerts: Mother’s Day Show “The Power of Love” is scheduled for May 13th, 2023.

g. Set Free Praise Dance Conference-. The CVB Advisory Council has recommended to approve funding in the amount of $1,500 to be paid out of Special Events with a contingency on available funds. The CVB Advisory Council also recommended to put $500 towards awards and recognition for volunteers. The event is expecting 50 local participants, 40 regional participants, and 10 out of state participants. The event is expecting 30 room nights. The funding formula showed a value of $2,000 for this event. Set Free Praise Dance Conference is scheduled for August 18-19, 2023.

h. Oklahoma Fire Chiefs Association Conference – President’s Approval funding $5,800 to be paid out of special events. The event is expecting 200 participants and 400 room nights. The funding formula showed a value of $5,800 for this event. The Oklahoma Fire Chiefs Association Conference is scheduled for April 12-14, 2023.
