V.d. 2024 Lawton City Wide Garage Sales- The CVB Advisory Council has approved funding for this event in the amount of $500 for a Facebook boosted post to be reimbursed to Emmanuel Alfaro’s group with an additional $350 in advertising value via the Chamber’s electric billboard. This event is expecting 2,500 local participants, 1,500 regional participants, and 1,500 out-of-state participants. The event is expecting 10 room nights. The Lawton City Wide Garage Sales event is scheduled for October 2-13, 2024.

V.e. Boots and Bling Line Dance Showcase- The CVB Advisory Council has approved funding for this event in the amount of $10 per verifiable room night of up to $1000 to be paid to the event host. This event is expecting 150 local participants, 50 regional participants, and 50 out-of-state participants. The event is expecting 15 room nights. The funding formula showed a value of $450 for this event. The Boots and Bling Line Dance Show Case is scheduled for September 20-22, 2024.

V.f. Counter UAS Forum by The FISTA- The CVB Advisory Council has recommended approving funding in the amount of $6,300 to be paid out of Special Events to the Hilton, contingent on city budget confirmation. The event is expecting 45 local participants, 25 regional participants, and 5 out-of-state participants. The event is expecting 130 room nights. The funding formula showed a value of $1,600 for this event. The Counter UAS Forum is taking place on October 30, 2024.

V.g. Advocacy Boot Camp- The CVB Advisory Council has recommended approving funding in the amount of $1,100 to be paid out of Special Events to the Apache Casino Hotel. The event is expecting at least 30 total participants. The event is expecting 30 room nights. The funding formula showed a value of $1,100 for this event. Advocacy Boot Camp is scheduled to take place from November 19-21, 2024.

V.h. Operation Daily Battle- The CVB Advisory Council has recommended funding this event in the amount of $2,500 to be paid out of Special Events, made payable to VFW Post 5263. The event is expecting 25 local participants, 25 regional participants, and 150 out-of-state participants. This event is expecting 220 total room nights. Operation Daily Battle is scheduled to take place from September 12-15, 2024.

International Festival- The CVB Advisory Council has recommended approving funding in the amount of $5,000 to be paid out of Arts and Attraction to McMahon Auditorium Authority, contingent on city budget confirmation. The event is expecting 25,000 local participants, 5,000 regional participants, and 200 out-of-state participants. The event is expecting 100 room nights. The funding formula showed a value of $5,000 for this event. The International Festival is scheduled to take place from September 27-29, 2024.
