I. Call Meeting to Order

III. Student Suspension Due Process Appeal Hearing for Student 19-01
III.A. The Board President will ask the parent(s)/student whether they wish the hearing to be in open session or in executive session. If the parent(s)/student wishes the hearing to be in executive session, then the Board will consider and vote to go into executive session pursuant to OKLA. STAT. tit. 25, § 307(B)(5) to hear evidence and to discuss the suspension of the student in question. Also, the Board can consider and vote to go into executive session pursuant to OKLA. STAT. tit. 25, § 307(B)(7) at any time during this hearing where disclosures of information would violate confidentiality requirements of state or federal law.

III.D. Presentation of all administration's evidence subject to cross-examination and questions from the Board of Education.
III.E. Presentation of parents'/student's evidence subject to cross-examination and questions from the Board of Education.
III.F. Presentation of rebuttal evidence and surrebuttal evidence, if any, with cross-examination and questions from the Board of Education.
III.G. Closing statement by parent(s)/student or their designee(s). (Limited to 10 minutes)
III.H. Closing statement by administration or its designee(s). (Limited to 10 minutes)
III.I. Deliberation by Board of Education. [If the hearing is NOT held in executive session, then the Board may vote at this time to go into executive session, pursuant to Oklahoma Statute Title § 25, 307(B)(5) and (7) to discuss and deliberate on the suspension of Student 19-01 since disclosure of information would violate confidentiality requirements of state or federal law.]
III.J. If the hearing or deliberations or both are held in executive session the board will vote on a motion to acknowledge return to open session. If the hearing is in open session the board will move to a vote on the findings of fact and the action of the board to either affirm, overturn, or modify the suspension of the student.
III.K. Receipt of sealed executive session minutes from Board President if the hearing or the deliberations or both were held in executive session.
III.L. Motion and vote to adopt findings of fact on the suspension of Student 19-01.
III.M. Motion and vote to affirm suspension or modify suspension (increase or decrease severity of suspension) or overturn suspension of Student 19-01.
IV. Adjournment
IV.A. Motion and vote to adjourn meeting.
