The student enrollment for October 1, 2024 is 2,078. This is 20 students fewer than this time last year.

Update on Surplus Properties - Marsha Nation
Discussion:
Marsha Nation reported that the title company needed additional documentation for the sale of the two properties located at 20670 and 20660 Walker Street. They required the District to advertise the properties for sale in the newspaper. If there are any bids they will be opened on October 25th, 2024. Marsha has contacted the two people who the board accepted offers from at the September 9, 2024 board meeting and they both signed an extension bid. If there are no bids, the offers that were accepted will be final.

Construction Update - Timberlake and LDG
Discussion:
The lockers are going in at the wrestling facility. They are working on finishing touches and putting together the punch list. The building should be operating and available for move-in by the end of the month. Work is continuing on the parent loop at the middle school. They plan to asphalt the road before Thanksgiving. Russell Babb Elementary is their next project.
