3.A. Proposed executive session to discuss the employment of a superintendent. Oklahoma Statutes, Title 25 § 307 (B) (1).

Discussion:
Ms. Miriam Campos moved to return to open session at 4:24 p.m. Mr. Saul Ortiz seconded the motion.

3.C. Executive session minutes compliance announcement.
Discussion:
The Board of Education met in executive session to discuss the employment of a superintendent as authorized by OKLA.STAT. tit 25, Section 307 (B) (1). No other business was discussed in the closed session and no votes were taken. Those present in the closed session included Board Members Dr. Linda Toure, Ms. Campos, Ms. Jones, Mr. Ortiz, Ms. Rivera, and Mr. Greg Jones as a guest.

4. Motion, Discussion and possible vote on board action to employ a superintendent.
Discussion:
Motion passes. Deputy Superintendent Martin, you have been selected by the Board to serve as Superintendent, effective July 1, 2026. Congratulations! Superintendent Collins: "Thank you. I appreciate the Board and the work they’ve done with Mr. Martin on this transition. As we continue moving forward, it’s important that we remain aligned and focused on our shared goals. It’s a great day to be at Metro Tech." Superintendent Collins also expressed appreciation to the leadership team and staff members present, thanking them for their continued support.
