5. The Lawton Public School District encourages participation from all of its patrons. If participation at any public meeting is not possible due to a disability, notification to the Clerk of the Board of Education at 580-357-6900, extension 2074, at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled meeting is encouraged to make the necessary accommodations. The district may waive the 48-hour rule if an interpreter for the deaf (signing) is not the necessary accommodation.
