IV.A. ↵Superintendent's Report
Discussion:
Mr. Chapman started the superintendent's report with membership. He pointed out we have the highest graduating class in several years. He also thinks the virtual students will decrease next year, and we will have more students back on campus. Mr. Chapman proposed building a 15,000 sq. ft. multi purposed elementary building to house the elementary PE and music classes. This building would cost approximately one million. He feels the elementary students would be safer if they did not have to walk across the parking lot to attend these classes. He also stated the air quality and size of the current PE facility is not meeting our standards. This building would be built by a bond issue passed in the fall of 2021. This bond issue would have no tax increase to the public. Mr. Chapman talked about the CNG installed on the buses and reported the bus drivers are very pleased with the results. He went over the utilities and transportation report.
