IV.A. Superintendent's Report
Discussion:
Mr. Chapman started his report with membership. We have 1166 students enrolled, 220 of those students are virtual. Our high school has the most virtual with 30%. He moved on to Covid 19 vaccines. South Central Medical will be administrating vaccines to any staff member who wishes to be vaccinated as soon as it comes available. The board stressed safety precautions still need to be in place even if the person has been vaccinated. January is school board member appreciation month and Mr. Chapman expressed his thanks to each of the board members and gave each one a token of his appreciation. Mr. Chapman attended an OSSAA meeting this month and expressed to the board the concerns from many school about the classification for sports. Several school in the state are upset about private school being in the same classification as public schools. He will keep the board updated on this situation. Due to an error with the county court house, Mr. Chapman stated we will hold special meetings instead of regular meetings for the year 2021. We will not be able to address new business during these meetings. He expressed his apologizes. Mr. Chapman reviewed the transportation and utilities report with the board.

IV.B. Principals' Reports

IV.B.1. Elementary
Discussion:
Mr. Burrell gave the elementary report. He stated 15 new students were enrolled after Christmas break. These students were previously virtual students and now they are on campus. The elementary sill has several students quarantined due to Covid 19, but no new positive cases have been reported in students. He stated grades went out last week for the 1st semester. He encouraged teachers to work with students and parents during this difficult time.

IV.B.2. Middle School
Discussion:
Mr.. Ferguson gave the Middle School report. He went over the students of the month. He stated he had several students come back after the Christmas break that were previously virtual. The students were excited to be back on campus. The academic team recently participated in a meet and they have a few more to finish up the season. Mr. Ferguson gave the athletic report. The basketball tournament went very well this past weekend. We ware able to play in both gyms. Next week the high school basketball will travel to Jones.

IV.B.3. High School
Discussion:
Mr. Karpe gave the High School report. He went over the students of the month. He stated he still had several students on the virtual program. He has noticed a decrease in discipline problems. He is able to focus his attention on other matters now. He is working closely with teachers and parents to make sure students are finishing their virtual work.

Discussion:

Discussion:
Gena Fletcher, president, gave the executive session minutes compliance statement, stating the board had met in executive session for the purpose shown on the agenda and that no vote was taken during the executive session.

Mr. Chapman stated the only changes made to the board policy were to bring the policy up to date with current laws.
