III.A. Superintendent's Report
Discussion:
Mr. Chapman reviewed the membership report pointing out that current enrollment was up one student from February's report, but down about 15 students from a year ago. He mentioned that the month of April will be busy with student testing. Many of our ag students will be participating in the Oklahoma Youth Expo during the next two weeks and high school band members will be competing at state contest on March 31 or April 1. The State Department of Education released a policy today concerning traveling over spring break. If an employee or student travels to a level 2 or 3 country, they must be quarantined for 14 days after their return. The trip that was scheduled for Lindsay students to France, Switzerland and Germany has been postponed. Mr. Chapman is checking in to the possibility of live streaming graduation since large crowds may be discouraged at that time. Mr. Chapman shared that the district's custodial staff is doing all they can to insure the health of our students and staff. This includes the use of misters that kill viruses, including the corona virus. Mr. Chapman reviewed the transportation report and utilities summary.

III.B.1. Elementary
Discussion:
Mrs. Boeckman gave her report on elementary. Students are being encouraged to practice "wash in-wash out" when entering or leaving their classroom. A hand sanitizer station has been set up in every classroom. This coming Friday fifth grade students will be presenting their wax museum. Students research a person, dress as them and have a presentation board with information about the person. During the presentation, students actually act the part of the person they researched. Fifth grade students will have the opportunity to participate in three track meets through elementary physical education classes. Students are scheduled to begin achievement tests on April 21st. Mrs. Boeckman researched the possibility of continuing to educate students should schools be shut down. She visited with Mrs. Shoemake and found there are six programs elementary students can access at home covering math, reading and spelling.

III.B.3. High School
Discussion:
Mrs. Boeckman gave Mr. Karpe's report as he was not able to attend the meeting. She read names of the high school students of the month. Four students were finalists in the Rural Electric Cooperative essay contest - two won trips to Washington, D.C., and two will travel to Colorado. REC also held a calendar contest and Lindsay students won 13 of the 14 available spots on the calendar - 5 were middle school students and 8 were high school students. Mr. Chapman had already mentioned that the high school band will compete at the state level. Several members of the high school band also qualified for state in the solo and ensemble divisions.
