7. SUPERINTENDENT'S REPORT: JEFF THOMPSON
Discussion:
Mr. Thompson presented the Superintendent's report.
He ask the board members to review their Board Member Points for accuracy, and reminded them of the August Conference if any other members, other than Jeremy Baggett, want to attend. He complimented Lisa, Adrian, and Kathy for working hard to get the school cleaned and ready, gave vehicle update- Ag Pickup has been delivered, Maverick sometime in September, both Suburbans are here, 3 Route Buses are in, 1 Route Bus will be delivered soon, the 29 Passenger Bus will be delivered sometime in September, and the Activity Bus should be here by October. Congratulations to Mr. Dalton Shryock and Kathy Purcell for passing the bus driving test. |

8. PRINCIPAL'S REPORT- JEFF THOMPSON AND BRAD SHRYOCK
Discussion:
The Elementary Report was given by Mr. Thompson.
Enrollment is 128. Upcoming activities are- Fire Pit Fundraiser, Cookie Dough Fundraiser, Book Fair will be Wednesday to Friday, and this year 3 Book Fairs have to be held to get the BOGO. S-M Fair will be September 6th and 7th, Grandparent Day will be September 9th. There will be donuts, singing, and a photo booth. Teacher Amazon Pages are still open and will be available all year, PTO is purchasing classroom supplies for students, and football will be at Buffalo August 26th and at Waynoka September 9th. Mr. Brad Shryock gave the High School Report. Enrollment is 87. Media night was held last Friday night 8/9 and went well, Volleyball has started with the first game Tuesday at Canute, the High School will have a football scrimmage at Shattuck 8/23/24, Jr. High will have a football scrimmage 8/26/24 at Buffalo. Mrs. Stone's BITE class is going to start a school newspaper, local fair will be September 6th-7th at the Ag Farm, and there was some minor flooding in the Ag Building this past weekend with the heavy rain- fall. |
