7. PRINCIPAL'S REPORT- JEFF THOMPSON AND TERRI HOPPER
Discussion:
Mr. Thompson gave the elementary report. Enrollment
is 134. The Teacher Amazon Pages are still open and will be available all year. The Christmas Store was a huge success. Thank you to Ms Bri and our Elementary parents who volunteered. Santa Claus and the Santa Claus pics went well and everyone had a lot of fun. December 14th is Movie Day, and school will be released early at 1:00 p.m., December 18th thru January 1st is Christmas Break, January 2nd is Professional Development Day - No School, January 15th 5th and 6th grade basketball at Mooreland 4:30 p.m., and January 25th 5th and 6th grade basketball at Buffalo 4:30 p.m. Students of the Month for November- Pre-K Kash Wilson Pre-K Treagan Knapp Kind. Everst White 1st Ridge Spray 2nd Bexley Thompson 3rd Laykn Marlatt 4th Emma Brechlin 5th Prince Prada 6th Allison Garcia Mrs. Hopper gave the high school report. Enrollment is 86. Semester tests will be completed tomorrow, Basketball Home- coming is January 2nd at 6: p.m., and HPTC Sophomore Tour will be January 10th, 2024. |

8. LEADERSHIP TEAM REPORT:
Discussion:
Mr. Brad Shryock reported that they had 34 students
participate in the Lift-a-thon. They have not gotten a final dollar amount yet due to people still donating. |

9. Board to take action on the employment of Stephen
H. McDonald and Associates, Inc., as Financial Consultant to the school district.

here, and explained the services, to the board, that they provide for the school district.

10. Board to consider and take action on a resolution
authorizing the calling and holding of a special election to be held in this School District to authorize the issuance of general obligation bonds.
Discussion:
Matt Reichert with Stephen H. McDonald &
Associates went over how the bonds are handled. He stated that the interest rate cannot be greater than 10% on the bonds that are sold, the Transportation Bond has to be for 5 years or less, and went over how the ballot will read. Election Day will be March 5, 2024. Board President, Bill J Clem, did state that the school does need to purchase a handi- cap bus, and the rest of the board agreed. He also spoke to the people watching online and ask them to please contact him, any other board member or committee member, if they have any questions or concerns. They will be happy to talk with you. They are really wanting this to pass.
