6. SUPERINTENDENT'S REPORT: JEFF THOMPSON
Discussion:
Mr. Thompson gave a short Superintendent's report.
He reported that the OSSBA Region 2 meeting will be held in the gym at Mutual on April 27, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. He then gave a Legislative Update, reminding everyone that the Legislative session begins February 6, 2023. |

7. PRINCIPAL'S REPORT- JEFF THOMPSON AND TERRI HOPPER
Discussion:
7:OO p.m. Neal Stephenson, Vice President,
arrived at the meeting. Mr. Thompson gave the elementary report stating the enrollment Pre-K thru 6th is 141 students. The Teacher Amazon Pages are still open and will be available all year. January 16th basketball vs Mooreland at 4:30 p.m., January 26th basketball vs Buffalo at 4:30 p.m., and February 4th is the PTO Basketball Festival 1st/2nd grade and 3rd/4th grade. The Local Livestock Show is February 4th. He reported that the Students of the Month for December were: Pre-K - Marlee Bellows and Hesston Thompson Kind. - Trace Sharpton 1st - Stevi Wilson 2nd - Nyla Gonzales 3rd - Kynlee James 4th - Serenity McIntyre 5th - - Ivory Gonzales 6th - Lorenzo Paez Mra. Hopper reported on the high school stating the total enrollment is 68 students, they are doing Character Minutes one time a month where they discuss such things as teenage stress, anxieties, and bullying. The S-M JH Tournament is going on this week, Jr's will have Cadet Lawman January 10th, Area Academic meet will be January 14th at Leedey, Sr's will have EMT Careers January 16th, Power Lifting will be at Snyder January 17th and 18th, Postive choices will be January 23rd where the WPYFS will do Stress and Drama working groups. |

8. LEADERSHIP TEAM REPORT:
Discussion:
Mrs. Syms reported that January 26th
will be 101 days of school and the students are to dress like dalmations. Mrs. NaIl reported that the JH Academic team competed against Fargo and won. |

9. Board to discuss and take action on approving Resolution
regarding a lease agreement with Stock Exchange Bank of Woodward for the purpose of purchasing land.

10. Board to consider and take action on sealed
bids for property in Mutual, Ok.
Discussion:
There was only one sealed bid for the property. It
was from Miquel Rivas for $18,000.00. President Bill J Clem moved that the bid be accepted and Vice President, Neal Stephenson agreed statng the money should be put towards payment on the new I-pads. Rest of the board members agreed.

11. Proposed executive session to evaluate Superintendent
for 2022-2023 school year with resulting vote to be made. 25 O.S .307(B)(1) |

14. Board to consider and take action on the Superintendent's
contract and addendum(s) for the 2022-2023 school year.
Discussion:
Board President, Bill J Clem announced
that Mr. Thompson will be given a three year contract, and an additional Transportation addendum.

15. Board to consider and take action on bus
driver for afternoon route for 2022-2023 school year.

16. NEW BUSINESS
Discussion:
Lexi Robinson, Sr. at S-M HS, asked the board to
consider a Sweetheart Dance February 14th at the Ag barn. It will be held as a fund raiser and the charge will be $5.00 per person and $8.00 per couple. President Bill J Clem made a motion to allow the dance to take place and Levi Spencer seconded it. All other board members agreed. Motion passed. Christine Thornburg addressed the board regarding the pick-up line and events held at the school are blocking residents drive ways. The board ask that this be discussed at the next meeting, and in the meantime Mr. Thompson ask her to draw up a map showing the issue and list any recommendations she has. Christine agreed to do that, so issue will be addressed at the February meeting |
