The meeting was called to order at 6:51 p.m. by Mandy Hedges, Board President.

5. Board to consider and take action to appoint a new member to Board Seat #1.
I, Eddie White, hereby declare under oath, that I will faithfully perform the duties of Member of the Sharon-Mutual Board of Education to the best of my ability, and that I will faithfully discharge all of the duties pertaining to said office, and obey the Constitution and laws of the United States and Oklahoma
Discussion:
No action taken since board member, Eddie White, was elected, not appointed. Mr. Thompson, Superintendent, recommended to allow Eddie White to read his oath and be seated, by election, as a board member. |

8. SUPERINTENDENT'S REPORT: JEFF THOMPSON
Discussion:
The superintendent 's report was given by Mr. Thompson. He reminded
everyone that the Legislatiave issues are winding down and to keep an on eye on the issues: Election Dates, Board Member Recall, and Voucher Bills. April 21, 2022 is the board members Region 2 meeting at Mooreland. It will count for 3 hours of credit. April 29, 2022 is Board President Training from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and April 30, 2022 is a New Board Member Training. Mr. Thompson encouraged all to attend if possible, but if unable to, the training can be done online. He ask the board members to please let him know as soon as possible if they were interested in going. He will attend it with them. On May 11, 2022, at 6:35 p.m., prior to regular board meeting at 6:45 p.m., we will have a special board meeting to set a date and time for the selling of the bonds. It was in agreement that the meeting will be held June 7, 2022, at 12:00 P.M. Banks will have had the opportunity to bid on the selling of the bonds, and whichever wins the bid, sets the interest rate. |

9. PRINCIPAL'S REPORT- JEFF THOMPSON AND TERRI HOPPER
Discussion:
Mr. Thompson reported on the elementary stating they have
149 total students from Pre-K thru 8th grade. The month of May will be busy with the following activities: May 2nd-5th Book Fair, May 2nd 1st/2nd grade field trip, May 4th Pre-K- Kindergarten Field Trip, May 5th Spring Concert, May 8th Big 4 Track Meet, May 12th Elementary Graduation at 7:00 p.m., May 12th Special Olympics, May 16th Elementary Awards Assembly. Mrs. Hooper reported on the high school stating they have 49 total students. Testing is complete, April 20th Softball Districts at Arnett, April 19th-20th Baseball Districts at Hammon. April 21st State Vocal, April 28th FCCLA Sr. farewell and installation at 6:00 p.m., Ag Interscholastics, April 30th Track Regionals, May 2nd HPTC Awards Assembly, May 2nd, 3rd, 4th FAA Convention in Tulsa,May 5th-8th BPA National Convention with Lexi Robinson attending to represent our school, Spring Concert May 5th at 7:00 on the football field if weather allows, May 6th-7th State Track, May 9th is Big Four, and May 10th is FFA Banquet at 6:30 p.m. |

10. LEADERSHIP TEAM REPORT:
Discussion:
Report was given by Alyssa Lee. The Easter party will be tomorrow
and the Easter Bunny may be making an appearance. A Book Fair will be held the first week of May with BOGO, many field trips will be taken the next couple of weeks, and March Students of the Month were announced. Alyssa then turned the meeting over to Trisha Thompson who reported the following on 4-H. Two teams were taken to Judging Contest. The first team of 5th and 6th graders received 7th out of 40 teams, and the 2nd team received 22nd out of 41 teams. Mrs. Thompson stated they all represented the school very well. May 6th at 6:00 p.m. is the FFA Banquet, the members are working on the outdoor garden, and will be taking a hiking trip in June. |

11. Board to consider and take action on contract with Britton, Kuykendall,
and Miller, to perform audit for FY 2022.
Discussion:
It was voted that Sharon-Mutual school will use Brittain, Kuykendall,
and MIller for the 2022 audit, then will change auditors.
