DATES FOR 2022 SCHOOL YEAR
Discussion:
Mr. Thompson presented the new dates for board meetings in the 2022 calendar year.
Mr. Thompson stated that the old rule was the second Monday after the first Tuesday and presented possible dates. He then expressed the things clerical staff need, like the dates need to be between the 10th and 17th of every month, so this allows all bills to come in and be paid in a timely manner. The things he looks at is trying to provide the best opportunity to get as many people as possible to the meeting, getting as many board members to meeting as possible, and the ability to get staff to meeting to answer questions from appropriate people. The dates presented to the board by Mr. Thompson were discussed, and changes were made from the original scheduled dates. The meetings will continue to be held in the Sharon Elementary School library at 6:45 p.m. Here is the list of approved dates: January 12th, February 14th, March 9th, April 13th, May 11th, June 13th, July 18th, August 15th, September 14th, October 12th, November 15th, December 14th.
