Upcoming events:
9 Weeks and Semester tests are taking place this week. FFA banquet is tomorrow night at 6:00 and everyone is invited Last day of school is Thursday. Graduation is Friday night at 7. **Congrats to the baseball team for making the state tournament and finishing in the semi final game. **The boys basketball team was invited to the floor of the Oklahoma House and Senate chambers. They were great and represented our school and community very well! As a group we were allowed to make the long trip to the top of the capitol rotunda. An experience that isn’t open to the public and the boys seemed to really love that experience. They even got to sign their names inside the rotunda! **Congrats to Hunter Mueggenborg for reaching state in golf! Although he didn’t place, he performed very well and we are proud of him! **Mrs. Radford said that: Jaylan Candy-Fire took his ServSafe Manager Test with a proctor yesterday and passed! We printed his certificate, which we will frame tomorrow. He will put his Food Handler Certificate and his Manager Certificate up in Sonic! He did it!!!! The Okarche Education Fund from this year funded this. Mr. Odonnell Milk Quality Judging Team finished 3rd overall in State and received a trophy for all their hard work this year. Jace Rother and Haley Mayo received their State FFA degrees and Garrett England was recognized for high individual in Junior Sporting Clays at the state ffa convention. Math is vertically aligned and math guides and standards will be provided for all teachers for the next school year. Janet Hale is currently working on breaking apart our ELA standards for those to be our next step in the vertical alignment process. Those should be completed mid June. Special thanks for Haley Mitchel for her work with our curriculum alignment! She worked extremely hard on this and did a wonderful job! |

Superintendent - Josh Sumrall
Discussion:
Rep. Dobrinski and Sen. Jech contacted us to compliment our boys team and coaches on how they represented us at the State Capitol. We were one of the first schools to have everyone in a tie and coat. I want to brag on and commend all staff and students on a great year. All the banquets and awards have been well done. HS Graduation at 7pm Friday. Come at 6:30pm for a picture.

Financial Report
Discussion:
General Fund: 4.9 million. Bldg fund: a couple thousand short of 2 million. Ad Velorum tax we still have one million left to come in. We are 3 million in revenue away from being back on the formula, so we are a long ways away.

No Action(s) have been added to this Agenda Item.
Discussion:
Mr. Alig asked who makes the decision whether a PO is done out of the general fund or activity. Mr. Sumrall is the one who makes the decision. Mr. Alig asked if summer pride is open to all students or just athletes. It is typically athletes only. No one has asked, but we could entertain it. Mr. Alig asked about the activity fund balances and if things are done equally.

Action(s):
No Action(s) have been added to this Agenda Item.
Discussion:
Mr. Harris spoke to the board about the trip. Most bands take a trip each year and he would like to do this. He would like to provide especially for those who may not get to travel. It is to Orlando, FL. Estimate per person is about $1800. The parents would be willing to fundraiser for it and several that would like to go as sponsors. Hoping to take 7-12th grade. The goal is to raise 100% of the cost. Anything that they don't raise they would pay for on their own. Expecting 25 students and at least 5 parents. When would the money need to be raised by? Monthly installments can be made.
