Elementary Principal - Chris Roby
Discussion:
Last week HS hosted Veterans assembly. Students took letters and pictures to our vets. Older students sang some songs. It was put on really well. We had our design team made up of 5th graders to compete against 7 schools and we brought back 1st place trophy. Project was called Buffalo Park and it was over Twister. We had Lego league 5-6 grade compete last week. They got 13 out of 30. Basketball teams playing tonight against Banner and they both got a win. Officer Sadler will come talk about gun safety. Have our 3rd checkpoint on IXL before break.

JH/HS Principal - G.W. Parham
Discussion:
Speech tournament took place here last weekend. Had a career fair here 7-12th. Mrs. Kirby organized and arranged it and went very very well. Mrs K has been busy testing and taking Seniors places. We gave the Juniors the ASVAB test. We had some also sign up for the PSAT. 10th and 12th attended reality check workshop in Kingfisher. It presents a scenario of real life like a job and budget, etc. 10th also took the pre-act test. 8th graders two weeks ago attended the county health fair. Beta inductions- 30 new members last week. Homecoming is this week. Halls are decorated up. Game is tomorrow night against Harding Fine Arts. Regional QB- 5th. Did not advance to state. They missed it barely. Veterans Day assembly went so great. One of the better ones we have had in a while. Kids were well behaved. Congrats to our JH boys and girls came home with runner up in Calumet basketball tournament. Mrs. Ford is excited for a new Kiln for her art program. Going to have an art auction April 19th. Mr. O'Donnell wanted to thank the board for allowing the FFA students to go to the National Convention. 2 former Okarche students received their highest FFA degree. Congrats to Madison Nance. She came and signed her letter of intent for NEO for softball.

Superintendent - Josh Sumrall
Discussion:
HVAC units update- 2 electric companies (AON reps and OGE reps). Trying to figure out why we have to reset after a power outage. Possible battery backup. Just today electricity flickered and we didn't lose them. Special board meeting went really well. Our Admin team has met and come up with some in house goals. Talking with OSSBA to get someone to come out and help with district planning. 6 employees are going to get their bus CDL over Christmas break.
