Elementary Principal - Chris Roby
Discussion:
Star testing 4th round around spring break. Students- field trips start this week. Dentist coming in to talk about good dental health. Rob Bomhoff is bringing Bullet out. He will talk about leadership. Spring concert April 25th at 7pm. Mrs. G has been working hard on that. Area QB will be at the elem. State testing starts April 17 with 3rd grade, then the following week the rest.

Discussion:
State Testing has started for the 11th Graders. 7/8 Graders begin in two weeks. Teachers are working to get them prepped and reviewed for those tests. Mrs. Krittenbrink has done a fantastic job getting all these scheduled and completed.
*Speech won the Region Sweepstakes at Weatherford with 13 students qualifying for state. State Speech is this weekend in Tulsa. I’m very proud of the entire speech department for how they responded and were able to perform under very difficult circumstances. I would also like to tell you that we received many phone calls and offers of help for our students from Speech teachers across the state. I would like to specially thank Paula McConnell, she is the speech teacher at Marlow and she has made sure that all of our students are well taken care of!! We couldn’t have done it without her support! Wednesday, April 12th. Jr High Trap Team will shoot in El Reno at the state contest starting at 10 am. Saturday, April 15th will be Okarche's 1st annual plant sale in the new greenhouse from 9-2. The new powder coating oven will be delivered this week. Girls' Basketball/ Boys' Basketball Emma Stover OGBCA All-State Abigayle Johnson OGBCA Academic All-State Jadyn Rother/ Emma Stover/ Jett Mueggenborg CTB All-Star Team Emma Stover- MVP 3 Rivers All-Conference 3 Rivers All-Conference: Jadyn Rother, Jalie Rother, and Tyson Endres Jett Mueggenborg- MVP 3 Rivers All-Conference 3 Rivers All-Conference: Hunter Mueggenborg, PK Harris, and Easton Roby Emma Stover, Jadyn Rother, and Jett Mueggenborg were also recognized at the Chsiholm Trail Broadcasting banquet this past Wednesday night. They had a nice meal and Coach Mitchel and Coach West did a nice job of speaking about their athletes to everyone! Finally we are hosting District playoffs for both baseball and softball. Road Safety Day for juniors and seniors May 2nd. |

Mr. Westmorelands memorial service went well here. May 19 is graduation. Board arrive 6:30pm. Started outside cleanup. May 14th is Baccalaureate.

March 31 General fund is 9.1 million. Bldg 1.3 million. Check for $700,000 arrived last week for Gen fund.

Discussion:
The board was presented with a letter from Katie Loyall. The letter discussed where they are at in the rebuilding process of their home. They should be in their new home by September or October of this year. Mr. McIlvain mentioned he would like to have the school check financials to see how much utilities are costing the district, and discuss at next board meeting to be sure they are doing right by the tax payers of the Okarche School District.
