Elementary Principal - Chris Roby
Discussion:
6th grade at Camp Goddard this week. Come back Friday afternoon. End of field trips going. 4th at Showbiz and 5th grade going to riversport on Thursday then 3rd grade Monday. AR party on the 18th at skate park in Yukon. Taps day on the 19th and awards on the 20th. We are going to put basketball stencils on outdoor court and a 4 square and hopscotch. The town donated tetherball. Last week the track meet was canceled but rescheduled for indoor just for our school. Coaches did a good job. Finishing our last round of star testing. Last week Taps put on appreciation week. They provided lots of goodies.

Last meeting we talked about the PreK issue. We had 29 enrolled and we have it down to 23/24. Ms. Timmons is willing to take on 24. We got all resident kids, staff kids and 2 transfers that already have siblings in the school. The ones old enough to go to K are going and some that are young are going to wait a year. It worked out. Wrapping up the year. All our programs and assemblies going on.

Project 841 "Class of 2021" will be renamed "Class of 2028" $3217.33 from Project 841 "Class of 2028" will be moved to Project 804 "HS Misc", leaving $500 start up money for the incoming 7th grade class. |

Update, discussion and possible action on the band room and baseball/softball field construction projects.
Discussion:
Brandon Box was here to discuss building projects. Band room: Framing is going up. Pushing for open in August. Bad news- baseball and softball came in over budget. Bid day came in at over $5 million dollar project. Ryan M spoke about how this needs trimmed and it is too far out of line. Need to take more time and get better bids. Jarrod asked where we are going from here. 3.2 million we want to stay at? Sumrall is going to contact attorneys to discuss lease purchase and options with AIP.
