Elementary Principal - Chris Roby
Discussion:
This week it's state testing prep. Starts next week Wednesday. Crunch time for teachers. Low key as possible so kids don't stress. Events: field trips: Band Concert May 3, track meet May 5, TAPS bingo night last week and it was really awesome. This year they brought food trucks out and community came out and supported. Drills are done for the school year.

JH/HS Assistant Principal - G.W. Parham
Discussion:
Okarche HS speech team went to a couple of events since our last meeting. Many brought home awards. They have qualified for Regionals for the 25th time. Had Emma S and Jalie R named to the Little All City. State Testing started last week.

Superintendent - Josh Sumrall
Discussion:
April and the year has flown by. Less than 30 days left of school. Maint is starting to mow and make lists of things needed. This Thursday accreditation will be here. Tomorrow evening is our Donkey basketball game. In January had a couple of HS students approach us about golf. I looked into it and had sign-ups. 13 boys and 5 girls. 2 tournaments to make it to a qualifier. They will go in the next couple of weeks. It has been fun. I'm all ears and want to listen to the kids. All for giving kids opportunities. We will try and work around other spring sports. It's been good. Talked to other coaches and this Wednesday they are hosting a JH tournament in Ft Cobb. Plan to take 5 JH kids. Next year we will have a tryout for JH. Our PE gym at the elem- the ceiling has the insulation falling down. We painted and put pads in but need to fix the ceiling now. One company has gotten back with us. Sheet metal all the way around $27,000. Preferred roofing did the roof outside last year. Will get quotes from more companies and address next month. Anderson asked how band room is going. They are there daily working. Baseball and softball bids will be the 14th. Can do special board meeting to approve.

Discussion and possible action on Pre-K enrollment numbers and any plans for the 2022-2023 school year.
Discussion:
Pre-k has been capped at 20. Enrollment brought 28. 22 live in district. 6 transfers. Out of the transfers includes teachers kids and 2 already have siblings in the school. Cap at 20 and go off birth date? Expand to a second class? We are out of classrooms. Another option is 1 adult per 10 kids. Could add another aide and have 1 teacher and 2 aides. 30 four-year-olds in one room would be rough. In a perfect world it would be to spilt and have two rooms. Portable building? Let's set our date for potty-trained by April 12th, then go by age and start a waiting list.
