Discussion:
Veterans Day assembly this Thursday. OKC memorial field trip for 4th grade. 5/6th grade ball starts back up next week at home against Banner. QB Dec 1st at Drummond. Lego League Jr competition this Saturday 10-11. 6 teachers have started letters training. Science of reading. We will meet starting next month to go over new reading curriculum. State has put out new standards.

Discussion:
NHS is hosting Veterans Day assembly and breakfast this Thursday. Speech and one act play finished 7th at State. Mr. Westmoreland and his crew represented us well and do a good job. Lots of ball this week. 6 out of 7 nights this week. Coaches Vs Cancer game is tomorrow, Benefiting Stacey Morgan. Supreme Court will hear the wind farm tax protest in March. They have been protesting their worth. School calendar discussion has been taking place. Going to try and have two calendars and let them choose. We have 8 days we can play with. Fridays off after Spring Break is being talked about. Another possibility would be come back on a Wednesday instead of a Monday from Christmas break.

Discussion and possible action on approving the superintendent to proceed with discussions with the Town of Okarche concerning the possibility of gaining land from the Town of Okarche including lots 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14, block 6 located on 6th street/current baseball/softball fields and land located north of town, near the town lagoon, for school/FFA usage.

Discussion:
Mr Sumrall looked at the contract from 1992 where the school sold the fields to the town for $10. Would like to talk to the town about purchasing that back. The land North of town Mr Anderson had mentioned that for a school farm. The land North we would just lease. The town attorney would draw up an agreement to bring back to the board.

Discussion:
Architect and CM didn't have anything new. They hope band room is ready to go to bid in a couple weeks. Fields in December.

Britton, Kuykendall & Miller, CPA's will present the 2020-2021 Annual Audit.
Discussion:
Rick Miller with BKM Auditor on the phone. Mr. Miller went over the financial report with the board. The school stayed well within the adopted budget in all funds. Findings were a 1099 that didn't get sent. Inventory needs to continue to improve. Activity fund bank account needs collateral pledge. We will put some of that money in another bank. Appropriations need input correctly into the OCAS system.

Discussion:
Craig mentioned career tech. What are our thoughts on scholarships. The price is about $15,000.00 per year. Mr. Sumrall said he could call around and see if any schools. The board mentioned putting it on the agenda for next month about a scholarship.
