Elementary Principal - Chris Roby
Discussion:
We finished state testing last week. Teachers will finish STAR testing this week. Mr. Roby has been in meetings with teachers. AR parties will be going on this week and next. 5th and 6th grades just came back from Camp Goddard. TAPS will be having an end of year party for our elementary kids on the 21st. Awards assembly and 6th grade promotion will be May 23 at 9:00

JH/HS Principal - Andrea Magness
Discussion:
Friday, May 17 at 9:00 we will have the academic awards. Baccalaureate will be held Sunday, May 19 at 7:00pm. High School graduation is May 24 at 8:00pm.
Rob and Katie Bomhoff were recognized by the State Superintendent for Excellence in Arts. They were selected to perform their humerous duet. We are finished with state testing. We received the results of the ACT tests. Athletics and FFA held their banquets. Prom was a success. Tyler Peters received 2nd in Beef Production at the State FFA Convention. Mr. Dean volunteered our FFA members to help break down the state at convention. |

Discussion:
Baccalaureate will be May 19 at 7:00pm. 8th grade promotion will be May 23 at 7:00pm. High School graduation will be May 24 at 8:00 pm.
Legislature is looking at a $1,200 pay raise for teachers. This item is holding up a lot of action at the Capitol. We are looking at up to $200 million to go to education. COSSA conference is June 4-6. Michelle Ellington received at $2,000 STEM grant from Devon Energy. Ms. Ellington will attend a conference in San Francisco and bring back ideas to implement in her classroom. |

Discussion:
They are sanding and finishing the gym floor. They are also working on the terrazzo. The plumbing has been started on the extra classrooms at the elementary. Plumbing should be finished by the end of next week.
