Elementary Principal - Chris Roby
Discussion:
This week testing 5th and 3rd. 4th next week, 6th the week after that. Pre-k to Stephen Fite next week. Counselor coming Apr 15th. Outside one that can work with some of our other kids if they qualify insc wise. Bingo- Apr 12th. Band had first concert in Clinton last Thursday. Apr 23rd is spring concert. May 6-10 Camp Goddard.

Discussion:
FFA had 11 different speakers doing 15 speechs. Several have placed in the top 3 State speech.

Superintendent - Rob Friesen
Discussion:
Katie Bomhoff got academic all state. Legislation- days to hours is a hot topic. Should still be ok with our 1080 hours. Baseball- host district with Hydro and SW Cov. Softball goes to Binger with Verden, Glencoe and Binger. Had reception with Coach Carter and the 1979 basketball team.

Financial Report
Discussion:
Mr. Friesen disussed the fund balances. The building fund should have roughly $300,000 left after paying for the music/extra classrooms. No bond for that project. Carryover should be 3.2 million. $250 a chair for the black box chairs. 300 chairs total.

Update and discussion on construction project
Discussion:
Van Storm and Shawn gave the update. About to start terrazzo. Score boards are up. Tile is up above the fine arts entry. Gym floor will probably start in 3 weeks. A lot of the lighting is up. In the next two weeks we will start concrete out front. Sound panels are up. Tile is almost finished.

Van Storm handed out spreadsheets for the music/extra classroom project. Shawn Vogt had a question about the concrete bid. Van said that there was some confusion on what all concrete was needed. So they made a line item for the extra. Most others were very tightly bid. The total project came in about $50,000 less than they expected. |

Consideration and action on a resolution for Universal Service Administrative Companies-Schools and Libraries Division (E-Rate) for the 2019-2020 school year.This resolution authorizes filing of the Form 471 applications for funding year 2019-2020 and the payment of the applicant's share upon approval of funding and receipt of services.

Discussion:
Mr. Friesen would like to donate the playground equipt to Light Your World Church. They will remove it. Bus bid for bus 9 $2,500. $6,000 for one of our route buses and he has a 29 passenger bus for $13,500. KW Power washing came and did a demo. He can power wash our buses for $80 each. Maybe have him come once a month.
