JH/HS Principal - Andrea Magness
Discussion:
We have 177 students. 15 new. Of the 15, 9 are freshman. Encore period has been going smooth. Staff meeting tomorrow morning. The 3 minutes between classes is going well, too.

||
Superintendent - Rob Friesen
Discussion:
Softball to Hydro for district. Baseball to Vici. Both tough, but will be alright. Mr. Wilczek went to his first robotics meeting last week. Should start moving in that direction. FFA has state fair stock show. Some judging and some cattle. We've gotten a lot of the furniture in for the elementary. About 90% is in. 389 total students district wide. Up roughly 25 kids from last year. Free and reduced has gone from 16%-35% in one year. Finances are in good shape right now. The elementary is lacking concrete work and playground.

Extra classrooms should be done in the next couple weeks. It would be good to have PT conf at the new elementary rather than the old one. That is what we are shooting for. Will probably have TAPS do a parent time to come help put stuff together and move and such. Roof going on the gym this week.

At the end of this school year we will look at moving our two yellow activity buses to the routes and getting two new yellow activity buses. Activity bus wise- we have gotten two options:
46 passenger Thomas bus- starts at $150,000. After graphics and such is about $160,000. 53 passenger- $232,000.00. |

New Business
Discussion:
We are assigning parking spaces for the students as they pay their class dues. The students have requested to be able to paint their parking spaces. The concern is it is at our new gym. Most feel it wouldn't look good next to our new gym. We may look at a temporary thing during AWOL week with maybe chalk. We are without a school nurse currently. Mr. Friesen reached out to Holy Trinity about the possibility of sharing a school nurse. We haven't heard back yet. Mr. Friesen will check into it further.
Nance, Jeffrey, Vogt and Baustert to Region 10. |
