Elementary Principal - Chris Roby
Discussion:
We finished last zoom meeting Friday, Grades will be finalized on the 15th. Third grade retention went away with Covid, 21 of 23 passed the stars test. The two that didn't were IEP kids and they did well enough to pass. Online participation with zoom was very good. Maybe 23 kids total that weren't on a zoom at least 50% of the time. Things will be coming in on how kids did. 6th grade promotion maybe in the summetime. Maybe a dinner at a banquet room or something. The rest of the kids will get their awards when school starts back.

Discussion:
Teachers have grades due this Wednesday. Our teachers had to make contact with kids at least 3 times a week. Most did well. Spent some time calling parents to see where kids were if they didn't show up. We maybe had less than 10 that did nothing. Prom parade Friday night. We had 34 vehicles sign up and a couple that came last minute. We have been planning graduation. In person on June the 5th. RIght now it is parents only. If things open up more we may let them add 5 guests. Schedules have started for pre-enrollment.

Discussion:
Notified today that the CARES act money we will get is a little over $20,000. We had a budget meeting the other day and they suggest planning on 25% of our gross production actually coming to us. Teachers will be coming in next week to finish their stuff. Kids can bring back their stuff after June 1st. Principals will get lists of kids who participated on a high level during all this. The Aligs are going to look at the back side of the gym for the concrete and sidewalk. Graduation on June 5th. We will give more details as it gets closer, so we know where the state is at. The city is in the process of doing banners for our Seniors. It will be broadcast on the okarche warrior tv.

Mr. Friesen handed out the 2017-2018 school year. 25 freshman students. One in english, 5 in math. 6 overall, 24%. That is lower than anyone in the county.
