15. Administrative Reports.
Discussion:
Superintendent Mr. McCormick reported that a Special Board Meeting will be held on October 20, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. He also informed the Board that school will be closed on October 29, 2025, for a Cultural Day, allowing students and staff the opportunity to attend the Indian Parade. Mr. McCormick further reported that Impact Aid currently has only three employees in the office due to layoffs in Washington, D.C., and as a result, the district has not yet received an early payment. He noted that Title I funding has been reduced, which will impact the district’s federal program allocations. Additionally, the district is actively pursuing grant opportunities, including a U.S. Tennis Association Grant to assist with tennis court renovations and a TSET Grant to support the development of pickleball courts. |
