9. Presentation by High School Principal, Danny Harris, for College Remediation Report and Annual High School Dropout Report for the 2023-2024 school year.
Discussion:
The College Remediation report and Annual High School Dropout report were presented by High School Principal, Danny Harris. In 2023 our dropout rate was 1.71%. We had 7 of 409 students drop out of high school. This is an improvement from previous years.

The principals in attendance gave a brief update/overview for their building. Sunset prinicipal, Jeff Barrett, reported that the first benchmark test scores were good and show that 71% of our Kindergarten students are "On Grade Level".
