7. Strategic Plan Goal Area 1 & 5 presentations.
Discussion:
Strategic Plan Goal Area 1 and 5 presentations were made by Leah Bauman. Goal Area 1 is Student Achievement with Objective #1 being to improve reading proficiency, Objective #2 is to meet diverse needs of all students and Objective #3 is to increase college and/or career readiness. Goal Area 5 is Family, Community & School Engagement with Objective #1 being to increase school/family partnerships and Objective #2 to increase school/community partnerships.

Mr. McCormick reported
1. Phase I of the Heat & A/C projects at the elementary schools has been completed. 2. Midyear State adjustment is an increase of about $215,000. 3. Special School Board Meeting will be held on January 20, 2022, at noon to sell General Obligation Building Bonds. 4. Covid19 numbers are rising and being closely monitored. Jeff Barrett presented cards made by Sunset students for board appreciation month and the board was thanked for their service and commitment to our schools. |
