3. Discussion and interaction with district administrators during presentations pertaining to district and school programs.
Discussion:
Lyn Grubb and David Sullivan gave a report from the Attendance committee. As of Friday the elementary attendance was between 96 and 98% and the Middle School and High School was between 93 and 95%. They reported that the support from the city courts for excessive absences has been good. David Sullivan and JoWanna Hudson gave a report from the Counselor Committee. They meet monthly and have collaborated to develop a tiered support system for our at risk students by working with the District Attorney, the Tribal Suicide Prevention groups, the Caddo/Kiowa Tech Center, CASA, the SW Youth Services and the Bright Day Program. Tony Summers, High School principal; Lavonda Bost, Middle School principal; Jeff Barrett, Mission Elementary principal; Danny Harris, East Elementary principal; and Rhonda Tallent, Sunset Elementary principal, all gave a report on the their 90 day action plans, accomplishments and goals for the school year.
