10. Administrative Reports.
Discussion:
Cindy invited everyone to attend the Annual Back To School Expo from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2015 in the Warrior Field House. Hackney reported that construction bids for the safe room project will be opened at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 16, 2015 at the administration building and Bellamy reported that the district is looking into the cost effectiveness of the CEP (Community Eligibility Program)for our Child Nutrition Program this year. If we meet the criteria and are approved this could allow all students to eat free. Hackney also reported that the district received a cease-and-desist letter from the Collegiate Logo firm concerning the use of the University of Arizona block letter logo and the Florida State University Spear logo that we use. Neither university will allow the district to pay for the use of their logos, therefore we will be phasing them out and working to design new logos for future use.
