I. Call Meeting to Order and Establish Quorum

Presenter: Clint Duncan, President

Discussion: President Clint Duncan called the meeting to order at 5:30 pm and announced the presence of a quorum.

II. Open Forum

Discussion: No individuals registered to speak during Open Forum.

III. Executive Session (Administration Building)

Discussion: The board entered into executive session at 5:31 pm and reconvened in open session at 5:43 pm.

III.A. Texas Government Code Section 551.072, deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property located at: 110 Redwater Blvd, Texarkana, Texas 75501 and more fully described in Volume 5930, Pages 45-48 of the Real Property Records of Bowie County, Texas.

III.B. Texas Gov't Code 551.074 Personnel Matters: To deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee.

IV. Action Items for Discussion/Consideration

IV.A. Consider and possible action to authorize the purchase of real property, including possible resolution to delegate authority to the Superintendent and/or her designee to make offers, negotiate a contract, conduct reviews of the real property with professionals, and execute a contract for the purchase property located at: 110 Redwater Blvd, Texarkana, Texas 75501 and more fully described in Volume 5930, Pages 45-48 of the Real Property Records of Bowie County, Texas.

I move the Board authorize the Superintendent to purchase the real property more fully described in the Board's Agenda Item IV.A. as discussed in closed session and further approve the Resolution Authorizing the Purchase of Real Property as presented by Administration, which includes additional delegation of authority related to the purchase of the property as set out in further detail therein. This motion, made by Jerry McCarty II and seconded by Bryan Strand, Passed.
