2. RECOMMENDATION, CONSIDERATION AND VOTE TO APPOINT AND EMPLOY JUSTIN C CLIBURN AND THE CENTER FOR EDUCATION LAW AS LEGAL COUNSEL FOR THE IDABEL BOARD OF EDUCATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF TODAY'S DUE PROCESS HEARING.

3. Due process hearing for Mary Blandon regarding her possible termination.
a. The board president shall convene the hearing, state the purpose of the hearing and introduce the parties. Upon the request of either party, the president may exclude from the hearing room the witnesses not at the time under examination, except that a party to the proceeding and their representative shall not be excluded. b. Opening statement by superintendent or his designee or representative. c. Opening statement by Ms. Blandon or her designee or representative. d. Presentation of superintendent’s evidence, followed by cross-examination of witnesses by Ms. Blandon or her designee or representative. e. Questions by board members. f. Presentation of Ms. Blandon’s evidence followed by cross-examination of witnesses by superintendent or superintendent’s designee or representative. g. Questions by board members. h. Presentation of rebuttal and surrebuttal evidence as necessary. i. Closing argument by superintendent or his designee or representative. j. Closing argument by Ms. Blandon or her designee or representative. k. Consideration and vote to go into executive session pursuant to Okla. Stat. tit. 25, § 307(B) (1) & (7) to deliberate on the dismissal or not of Mary Blandon. l. Vote to acknowledge return to open session. m. Board president’s statement of executive session minute. n. Vote by board to accept or reject the superintendent’s recommendation for the dismissal of Mary Blandon and recitation of findings of fact upon which the decision is based.
