April 12, 2021 at 6:00 PM - Regular Meeting

1. Call to order and roll call of members.

2. Vote to approve minutes of previous regular board meeting of March 8, 2021 and minutes of special board meetings of March 29, 2021 and April 5, 2021.

3. Vote to approve warrants (FY'20) building fund (82).

4. Vote to approve encumbrances (FY'21); payroll, general fund (70750-70755), coop fund (NONE), child nutrition fund (NONE); claims, general fund (836-921), coop fund (28-29), building fund (NONE), child nutrition fund (53) and sinking fund (2).

5. Vote to approve warrants (FY'21); payroll, general fund (2921-3228), coop fund (380-426), child nutrition fund (469-517); claims, general fund (3229-3330), coop fund (427-437), building fund (34), child nutrition fund (518-527) and sinking fund (2).

6. Vote to approve activity fund reports.

7. Vote to approve activity fund sub-accounts, transfers, expenditure requests, andor interest designations.

8. Vote to approve activity fundraisers.

9. Public Comment (As outlined in Board Policy 2004).

10. Consider and vote to approve a lease purchase agreement for buses from Summit Bus with funding through Empire Financial.  The lease purchase of the buses would be funded through the use of the district's One Half Cent sales tax allocation administered through the Pottawatomie County Commissioners and the Pottawatomie County Clerk's office.

11. Consider and vote to approve continued participation in Secondary Career and Technology Education Programs with the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education for the 2021-2022 school year.

12. Consider and vote to approve an agreement with the East Central Online Consortium to provide online courses for the students of Tecumseh Public Schools for the 2021-2022 school year.

13. Consider and vote to approve an out of state trip request for the Middle School Junior Beta Club to attend the National Beta Convention in Orlando, Florida.  Mrs. Colette McClure, Middle School Beta Club Sponsor, will attend as the Oklahoma State Beta Club Sponsor.

14. Consider and vote to approve the purchase of a Band trailer.  The purchase will be through the use of the district's One Half Cent sales tax allocation administered through the Pottawatomie County Commissioners and the Pottawatomie County Clerk's office.

15. Discussion regarding school personnel including possible executive session:
     A. Consider accepting personnel resignation request:
          Aldena Anderson - Child Nutrition - District
          Sharon Barnett - Language Arts - Middle School (retirement)
          Melissa Krauter - Child Nutrition - District
          Sheila McMunn - Bus Driver - District
          Melissa Watkins - Language Arts - Middle School (retirement)
          Debra Wilson - Cafeteria Manager - Barnard Elementary (retirement)
     B. Consider hiring new personnel for the 2021-2022 school year:
          Jordan Chaves - Mathematics - Middle School
          Kayla Dandy - District Activity Fund Custodian - District
          Terri Kessinger - Assistant Child Nutrition - District
          Maggie Ramsey - Secretary/Registrar - High School
     C. Consider hiring personnel for the 2021-2022 school year:
          See Attachment "A"
     D. Consider hiring Certified Personnel on a Temporary Contract for the 2021-2022  
          school year: 
          See Attachment "B"
     E.  Consider hiring Extra Duty Assignments for the 2021-2022 school year:
           See Attachment "C"
     F.  The Board may vote to convene in executive session to discuss said personnel
           matters as identified in items A through F as per Title 25 Oklahoma Statutes,
          Section 307 (B)(1).

16. Board vote to convene in executive session or to remain in open session.

17. Board to acknowledge the return to open session and to request the minutes clerk to record executive session minutes.

18. Vote to accept resignation request:  Aldena Anderson, Sharon Barnett, Melissa Krauter, Sheila McMunn, Melissa Watkins, Debra Wilson.

19. Vote to hire new personnel for the 2021-2022 school year:  Jordan Chaves, Kayla Dandy, Terri Kessinger, Maggie Ramsey.

20. Vote to hire certified personnel for the 2021-2022 school year:  See Attachment "A".

21. Vote to hire personnel on a temporary contract for the 2021-2022 school year:

22. Vote to hire extra duty assignments for the 2021-2022 school year:  See Attachment "C".
