March 8, 2021 at 6:00 PM - Regular Meeting

1. Call to order and roll call of members.

2. Vote to approve minutes of previous regular board meeting of February 8, 2021; and minutes of special board meetings of February 23, 2021 and February 27, 2021.

3. Vote to approve encumbrances (FY'21); payroll, general fund (70749), coop fund (NONE), child nutrition fund (NONE); claims, general fund (796-835), coop fund (27), building fund (34), child nutrition fund (50-52). 

4. Vote to approve warrants (FY'21); payroll, general fund (2547-2855), coop fund (322-368), child nutrition fund (406-454); claims, general fund (2856-2919, 2920), coop fund (369-379), building fund (32-33), child nutrition fund (455-468).

5. Vote to approve activity fund reports.

6. Vote to approve activity fund sub-accounts, transfers, expenditure requests, and/or interest designations.

7. Vote to approve activity fundraisers.

8. Public Comment (As outlined in Board Policy 2004).

9. Consider and vote to approve a district calendar for the 2021-2022 school year.

10. Consider and vote to approve projects for the district to include:
     a. Roofing projects at Barnard Elementary and Middle School
     b. Paint projects for Cross Timbers Elementary
     c. Parking lot projects for High School, Middle School, Cross Timbers,
         Barnard Elementary
The completion of these projects would be through the use of the district's half cent sales tax allocation administered through the Pottawatomie County Commissioners and the Pottawatomie County Clerk's office.

11. Consider and vote to approve the District Technology Plan for the 2021-2022 school year.

12. Discussion regarding school personnel including possible executive session:
    A. Consider accepting personnel resignation requests:
          Iva Bingham - STEAM Center Coordinator - District (Retirement)
          Loretta Riddle - Assistant Child Nutrition Director - District (Retirement)
          Rick Riddle - Child Nutrition - Tecumseh Early Childhood Center (Retirement)
    B. Consider hiring Building Principals for the 2021-2022 school year:
          Tammy Giaudrone - Principal - Tecumseh Early Childhood Center
          Jana Phelps - Principal - Barnard Elementary School
          Brandi Burks - Principal - Cross Timbers Elementary School
          Sarah Flowers - Principal - Tecumseh Middle School
          Randy Dilbeck - Principal - Tecumseh High School
     C. Consider hiring the Assistant Building Principals and Dean of Students for the
          2021-2022 school year:
          Rodney Buss - Assistant Principal - Tecumseh High School
          Jaime Griggs - Assistant Principal - Tecumseh High School
          Nels Storm - Assistant Principal - Tecumseh Middle School
          Lisa Thompson - Dean of Students - Cross Timbers Elementary School
     D. Consider hiring the Athletic Director - Tecumseh Public Schools
          Jeff Shafer - Athletic Director - Tecumseh Public Schools
     E. Discussion regarding candidates for the position of Superintendent of Schools.
     F. The Board may vote to convene in executive session to discuss said personnel
          matters as identified in items A through E as per Title 25 Oklahoma Statutes,
          Section 307(B)(1).
         

13. Board vote to convene in executive session or to remain in open session.

14. Board to acknowledge the return to open session and to request the minutes clerk to record executive session minutes.

15. Vote to accept personnel resignation requests:  Iva Bingham (Retirement), Loretta Riddle (Retirement), Rick Riddle (Retirement).

16. Vote to rehire or not to rehire the Building Principals for the 2021-2022 school year:  Tammy Giaudrone, Jana Phelps, Brandi Burks, Sarah Flowers, Randy Dilbeck.

17. Vote to rehire or not to rehire the Assistant Building Principals and Dean of Students for the 2021-2022 school year:  Rodney Buss, Jaime Griggs, Nels Storm, Lisa Thompson.

18. Vote to rehire or not to rehire the Athletic Director for the 2021-2022 school year:  Jeff Shafer.
