CONSENT DOCKET:  All items listed are considered to be routine by the Marietta Board of Education and will be enacted by one motion.  There will be no separate vote on these items unless a Board Member so requests, in which event the item will be removed from consent status and considered in its normal sequence on the agenda.  

The consent agenda consists of the discussion, consideration and approval of the following items:

Written minutes of the Special meeting on August 5th, 2024 and the Regular meeting on August 5th, 2024.  

General Fund encumbrances PO #'s 198 thru 266; Building Fund PO #'s 16 thru 19; Child Nutrition PO #'s 14 thru 19 and Payroll PO #'s 50,030 thru 50,045 and 50,047 thru 50,122.  

Increase to General Fund PO #'s 9, 57 and 150.

Renewal of Memorandum of Understanding with The Chickasaw Nation Early Childhood Program.  

Out-of-state travel request for FCCLA to attend National Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida, July 2nd through 10th, 2025.    

Employee Contracts for FY 25.  

Superintendent's Report

Public hearing to allow tribal officials and parents of Native American children to discuss the school's Impact Aid program, make recommendations concerning the needs of their children, the LEA's educational program and the degree of parental participation allowed.  

Consider and take action on annual review of the following District Policies:

Consider and take action on ARP ESSER III Plan for FY25.  

Consider and take action on Superintendent's written recommendation to pay retention stipends to all employees.  

Consider and take action on memorandum of understanding with Southern Tech Empower Program for dropout prevention/credit recovery program services, including accepting credits provided by Southern Tech instructors.  

Consider and take action on the FY 25 Estimate of Needs.  

Consider and take action on Tanica Anderson as adjunct in area 2019 - Physical Education/Health/Safety for the 2024-25 school year.
