Call Meeting to Order

Recognition of High School Students:  Emily Faulkenberry, Josie Dobbins and Cade Scarbrough.  

Construction Update with James Kerr of Kerr 3 Architects.

CONSENT DOCKET:  All items listed are considered to be routine by the Marietta Board of Education and will be enacted by one motion.  There will be no separate vote on these items unless a Board Member so requests, in which event the item will be removed from consent status and considered in its normal sequence on the agenda.  

The consent agenda consists of the discussion, consideration and approval of the following items:

Written minutes of August 1st, 2022.

General Fund encumbrances PO #'s 152 thru 217; Building Fund PO #'s 3 thru 5; Child Nutrition PO #'s 22 thru 26 and Payroll PO #'s 50,122 and 50,123.

Increase to General Fund PO #'s 10, 12 and 117; and Child Nutrition PO # 21.

Authorization to pay the FY23 allocation of statewide alternative education academy program funds to Ardmore City Schools for the education services of Take Two Alternative Academy.  

Athletic Emergency Plan for the 2022-23 school year.  

Activity Fundraiser Requests.

Superintendent's Report

Consider and take action on the FY23 Estimate of Needs.

Public hearing to allow tribal officials and parents of Native American children to discuss the school's Impact Aid program, make recommendations concerning the needs of their children, the LEA's educational program and the degree of parental participation allowed.  

Consider and take action on annual review of District Policy GGFC - Indian Policies and Procedures.

Consider and take action on Memorandum of Understanding with Marietta Classroom Teacher's Association regarding amendment to the negotiated agreement for employee personal business leave.  

Consider and take action on Special Education Handbook.  

Consider and take action to adjunct Julie Salas in the area of Mid-Level Math (5554) not for high school credit.  

Consider and take action on resignations.
