CONSENT DOCKET:  All items listed are considered to be routine by the Marietta Board of Education and will be enacted by one motion.  There will be no separate vote on these items unless a Board Member so requests, in which event the item will be removed from consent status and considered in its normal sequence on the agenda.  

The consent agenda consists of the discussion, consideration and approval of the following items:

Written minutes of June 27, 2022.

General Fund encumbrances PO #'s 94 thru 151; Building Fund PO #'s 1 and 2; Child Nutrition PO #'s 19 thru 21; General Fund Payroll PO#'s 50,015 thru 50,0115 and Child Nutrition Payroll PO #'s 50,000 thru 50,003.  

Increase to General Fund PO # 52.

Renewal of contract with Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education for secondary career and technology education programs for the 2022-23 school year.  

Superintendent as purchasing agent for Marietta Public Schools, Authorized Representative for all federal programs including E-Rate and Child Nutrition, and designated custodian for the general fund, building fund, child nutrition fund, bond fund, activity fund, all federal programs including E-Rate, all state programs and all other school programs and activities not listed for FY23.  

Written request to surplus outdated technology equipment.  

Out-of-state travel for FCCLA to National Fall Conference in Columbus, OH and the National Leadership Conference in Denver, CO, both in the 22-23 school year.  

Resolution authorizing the Board of County Commissioners of Love County to perform maintenance and repair on Marietta School Property and the maintenance or improvements for school bus travel.

Consider and take action on Superintendent's written recommendation to revise payroll procedure with regards to out-of-state experience for certified employees.

Consider and take action on Superintendent's written recommendation to pay employees a one-time COVID retention stipend for the 2022-23 school year.  

Consider and take action on memorandum of understanding with Marietta Classroom Teachers Association to continue certified staff COVID leave for the 2022-23 school year.  

Consider and take action on Superintendent's written recommendation to extend COVID leave for support employees for the 2022-23 school year.  

Consider and take action on offering bus transportation to all students living within the 1.5 mile radius of the school district.  

Consider and take action on resignations.
