Call Meeting to Order

Comments from visitors who have complied with board policy.

CONSENT DOCKET:  All items listed are considered to be routine by the Marietta Board of Education and will be enacted by one motion.  There will be no separate vote on these items unless a Board Member so requests, in which event the item will be removed from consent status and considered in its normal sequence on the agenda.  

The consent agenda consists of the discussion, consideration and approval of the following items:

Consider and take action on written minutes of September 8th, 2020.

Consider and take action on General Fund encumbrances PO #'s 179 thru 216; Building Fund PO #'s 5 thru 7; Child Nutrition PO # 25; General Fund Payroll PO # 50130 and Bond Fund Payroll #50000 and 50001.  

Consider and take action on an increase to General Fund PO #'s 44, 68 and 157;  and Payroll PO #'s 50015 and 50093.

Consider and take action on the 2021 schedule of the Marietta Board of Education meetings.  

Consider and take action on Board Election Resolution for 2021. 

Superintendent's Report

Presentation by Kerr 3 architecture firm on upcoming bond project.

Consider and take action on Superintendent's written recommendation for hiring a construction management firm for upcoming bond project.  

Presentation by Judy Sanchez-Fernandez and Ann Rutledge on the Continuous Strategic Improvement goal area - Personnel.  

Consider and take action on adopting the ACT test as the locally selected state assessment for high school juniors for the 2020-21 school year.

Consider and take action on Superintendent's written recommendation to pay one-time stipends to Jeral Berry and Nate Jackson for their work on bond projects.  

Consider and take action on resignations.

Proposed executive session to discuss the employment of a primary teacher's aide. 25 O.S. Section 307(B)(1)

Vote to acknowledge return to open session.

Executive session minutes compliance report. 

Consider and take action on the employment of a Primary Teacher's Aide.
