I. Call to Order

II. Roll Call

III. Student Suspension Due Process Appeal Hearing for Student #1. (The name of the student is not listed to protect confidentiality.)

III.1. The Board President will ask the parent/child whether they wish the hearing to be in open session or in executive or closed session.  If the parent/child wishes the hearing to be in executive or closed session, then the Board will consider and vote to go into Executive session pursuant to OKLA STAT. title 25, 307 (B) (5) to hear evidence and to discuss the suspension of the student in question.

III.2. Presentation of all administration evidence subject to cross-examination and questions from the Board of Education.

III.3. Presentation of parent/child's evidence subject to cross-examination and questions from the Board of Education.

III.4. Presentation of rebuttal evidence and rebuttal evidence, if any, with cross-examination and questions from the Board of Education.

III.5. Closing statement by parent/child or their designee.

III.6. Closing statement by administration or its designee.

III.7. Deliberation by Board of Education.  (If the hearing is not held in executive session, then the Board may vote at this time to go into executive session, pursuant to OKLA. STAT. title, 25, 307 (B) (5) to discuss and deliberate on the suspension of the student is question, but only with consent of the parent/child.)

III.8. Vote to acknowledge return to open session, if the Board is in executive session during deliberations.

III.9. Statement of executive session minutes, if any

III.10. Motion and vote to adopt findings of fact on the suspension of Student #1.

III.11. Motion and vote to affirm suspension or modify suspension (increase or decrease severity of suspension) or overturn suspension of Student #1.

IV. Vote to Adjourn
