As required by Sec. 311, Title 25 of the Oklahoma Statutes, notice is hereby given the Board Education of Independent School District No.4, Tulsa County, Oklahoma, will hold a Special Meeting on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at the BPS Administrative Center, 109 N. Armstrong, Bixby, OK.

Call meeting to Order/Roll Call

Discussion, consideration and vote to determine the necessity of an executive session and vote to go into executive session, pursuant to OKLA.STAT.tit. 25, Section 307 B.1, 4 and 7 (2011) of the Oklahoma Open Meeting Act, for the purpose of confidential communications between the board and its attorney concerning a pending confidential investigation of an incident involving certain Bixby High School students, the board having previously been advised by its attorney that public disclosure of such communications will violate confidentiality requirements of state or federal law and will seriously impair the ability of the School District to conduct the confidential pending investigation of such matter and to discuss among board members and any persons invited into the executive session any and all confidential employee and confidential student matters involved in the investigation.

Motion, discussion, and vote to take any action deemed necessary by the board of education because of or arising out of the pending confidential investigation referred to above, including any action deemed appropriate as to any employee and/or student.
