April 11, 2022 at 6:00 PM - Board of Education Regular Meeting

1. Call to Order.

2. Roll Call.

3. Flag Salute.

4. This is an open, public meeting held in accordance with the Open Meeting Laws of the State of Oklahoma.

5. Discussion and possible board action to appoint a qualified individual to vacant board seat #3 and Administer Oath of Office and Loyalty Oath to newly appointed board member. 70 O.S. § 5-116, S.L.O. §66.  

6. Reorganization of the Board of Education; appoint a president, vice president, and clerk.

7. Approval of Minutes of the March regular meeting.

8. Public Comments.

9. Vote to approve or disapprove the following overnight trips and fundraisers:

9.1. FFA overnight trip to Stillwater, OK for FFA State Livestock Judging Contest/Ryan Freeman.  

9.2. FFA overnight trip to Tulsa, OK for FFA State Convention/Ryan Freeman.  

9.3. Girls Basketball to raise money for program/Kirk Graham (3).

9.4. NHS to raise money for program/Sandi Zinn.  

9.5. Cheerleaders to raise money for program/Cindy Young, JoAnna Scrivner & Andrea Wall.

10. Vote to approve or disapprove the Request for Approval of State and/or Federal Funds for the Building Fund.  (S.A.&I. 307)

11. Vote to approve or disapprove the Temporary Appropriations for the 2022-2023 school year. 

12. Vote to approve or disapprove the 2022-2023 High School Academic Math, Science, and Computer Applications Credit Agreement with Caddo Kiowa Technology Center.

13. Vote to approve or disapprove the quarterly Allowable Transfer Numbers Per Grade for the second quarter of 2022.

14. Vote to approve or disapprove the COVID Relief Funds Equipment and Construction Renovation Application for Staff Fitness Renovation. 

15. Discussion and vote to approval or disapprove the updated ARP ESSER Spending Plan.

16. Consideration and vote to convene in executive session to discuss employment of personnel vacancies as allowed by 25.O.S.307B (1).

17. Vote to convene in open session. 

18. Vote to acknowledge the acceptance of the resignations and/or retirement of the following: Sherree' Orrell, Second Grade Teacher; Billie Connally, Third Grade Teacher; Caroline Harrell, Third Grade Teacher; Jennifer Church, Fifth Grade Reading Teacher; Mary Barrington, Fifth Grade ELA Teacher; Susan DeTurk, 6th Grade Science and Keyboarding; Sarah Morgan, Sixth Grade Math Teacher; Christ Gates, Eighth Grade Science Teacher; Jordan Huertas, Middle School Special Education Paraprofessional; and Andrew Duncan, High School Science Teacher, effective the end of the 2021-2022 school year.  

19. Vote to approve or disapprove the employment of Jauna Born, Seventh Grade Literature; Lyndee Reese, Middle School Special Education Teacher; and Hannah Freie, Paraprofessional at East Elementary for the 2022-2023 school year.
