LEVY HEARING
It is 6:40 p.m. on September 10, 2009 and I now convene this Public Hearing on the Fiscal Year 2009-2010 Tax Levy for the Grand Island Public Schools. Notice of this hearing has been advertised in the Grand Island Independent, which is the District’s designated method of giving notice of public hearings. If anyone in attendance is interested in addressing our board, you are welcome to do so. We simply request that you complete the appropriate form so that you may be recognized. |

2. PUBLIC HEARING ON THE 2009-2010 LEVY

Rationale:
This hearing is held for the purpose of hearing support, opposition, criticism, suggestions or observations of taxpayers relating to setting the final tax request at a different amount than the prior year tax request. The 2009 – 2010 levy public hearing will be for the General, Bond, Special Building, and Capital Improvement Funds.
