1. Call to order.

2. Vice-President of the GPTC Board of Education's report - Homer Ryan

2.a. Discussion and possible board action on declaring board member seat Zone Five (5) vacant.

2.b. Discussion and possible board action on the process utilized to determine candidate(s) for vacant board member seat Zone Five (5).

3. Conduct due process hearing for Devon Hicks on the Superintendent’s recommendation for a reduction in force and reassignment of Devon Hicks for the 2024-2025 school year to a position with less pay and fewer responsibilities due to the reduction in force:

3.a. The Board President shall convene the hearing and state the purpose of the hearing.

3.b. Opening statement by Superintendent.

3.c. Opening statement by Devon Hicks.

3.d. Presentation of Superintendent's evidence, followed by cross-examination of witnesses by and questions by the Board members.

3.e. Presentation of Devon Hicks’ evidence, followed by cross-examination of witnesses by the Superintendent or Superintendent’s designee and questions by the Board members.

3.f. Presentation of rebuttal evidence by Superintendent.

3.g. Presentation of sur-rebuttal evidence by Devon Hicks, as necessary, and sur-sur-rebuttal evidence by Superintendent, if necessary.

3.h. Closing argument by Devon Hicks.

3.j. Consideration and vote to enter into executive session to discuss and deliberate on whether to reassign or not reassign Ms. Hicks to a position of employment that has less pay and fewer responsibilities. This executive session is allowed by Okla. Stat. tit. 25, § 307(B)(1) & (7).

3.k. Vote to acknowledge return to open session.

3.l. Board President's statement of executive session minutes.

3.m. (1) Vote by Board to accept or reject the Superintendent’s recommendation for a reduction in force and the reassignment of Devon Hicks to a position with less pay and fewer responsibilities, and recitation of Findings of Fact upon which the decision is based.

 (2) Vote by Board to reassign Devon Hicks to a position of employment with less pay and fewer duties for the 2024-2025 school year, due to a reduction in force.

3.n. Discussion and vote to implement or not implement all other recommendations in the Superintendent’s Recommendation for a reorganization/reduction in Force.

4. Discussion and vote to accept any resignations submitted since the posting of the Agenda.

5. Discussion and vote to approve the creation and funding for any new positions recommended by the Superintendent as part of the reorganization and reduction in force.

6. Vote to adjourn.
