Vote to approve the agenda as part of the minutes.

Student Suspension Due Process Appeal Hearing for " STUDENT A"
|
The Board President will read a statement of procedures for the hearing.
|
Inquiry by Board President of "Student A", his parents, legal guardian, or attorney whether they request that the board hear evidence and discuss and deliberate the suspension of "Student A", in executive session. If so, the board may upon motion vote to go into executive session, pursuant to OKLA.STAT. tit. 25, 307 (B) (5), to hear evidence and discuss and deliberate on the suspension of "STUDENT A".

Opening statement by administration or its designee.

Opening Statement by parent/child or their designee.
|
Presentation of all administration evidence subject to cross-examination and questions from the board of education.

Presentation of parent/child's evidence subject to cross-examination and questions from the Board of Education.

Presentation of rebuttal evidence and surrebuttal evidence, if any, with cross-examination and questions from the Board of Education.
|
Closing statement by parent/child or their designee.
|
Closing statement by the administration or its designee.
|
Deliberation by Board of Education. [if the hearing is not held in executive session, then the Board, only at the request of "STUDENT A", his parents, legal guardian, or attorney, may upon motion vote at this time to go into executive session, pursuant to OKLA. STAT. tit. 25, 307(B) (5), to discuss and deliberate on the suspension of "STUDENT A." ]

Vote to acknowledge the return to open session, if the Board is in executive session during the hearing of evidence or discussion and deliberations.

Motion and vote to adopt findings of fact on the suspension of "STUDENT A."
|
Motion and vote to affirm suspension or modify suspension (increase or decrease severity of suspension) or overturn suspension of "STUDENT A."
