B. Discussion, motion and vote that the board of education declare the replacement of the boilers at the Shawnee Performing Arts and Athletic Center (PAAC), an emergency under 61 O.S. Section 130 of Oklahoma Statutes as this is a sudden unexpected happening or unforeseen occurrence/condition wherein the public health or safety is endangered if the boilers are not replace as soon as possible to provide a safe and effective learning environment for students and staff.
