Minutes from Regular BOE Meeting of April 14, 2020

Renewal with OSSBA for Policy Maintenance Service Subscription for the 2020-2021 school year. 

Oklahoma State School Boards Association Membership dues for the 2020-2021 school year.

2020 Extended School Year (ESY) program for June and July.

Discussion, consideration and action to approve or not approve adopting a district policy for Board of Education Meetings, Teleconferencing or Video conference regulations. 

Discussion, consideration and action to approve or not approve the Resolution for Schools and Libraries Universal Services (E-Rate) for 2020-21. This resolution authorizes filing of the Form 471 applications for funding year 2020-21 and the payment of the applicant's share upon approval of funding and
receipt of services.

Discussion, consideration and action to approve or not approve the Elementary student handbook for the 2020-2021 school year.

Discussion, consideration and action to approve or not approve the Middle School/High School student handbook for the 2020-2021 school year.

Discussion, consideration and action to approve or not approve the procedural agreement for bargaining between the Haskell Board of Education and the Haskell Education Association.

Personnel - The board of Education will consider and may vote to convene into Executive Session to discuss Personnel recommended for employment, hiring, appointment, promotion, demotion, disciplining and resignations of the following Personnel. [Oklahoma Statute Title 25, 307 (B)(1).] This meeting will be conducted entirely via teleconferencing and videoconferencing.  Those present at remote locations will be:  John Dillingham -teleconferencing, Jeff Hogue - teleconferencing, Sherry Brashear - teleconferencing, Corrie Buchanan - teleconferencing, Jay Dixon - teleconferencing, Rusty Harris - teleconferencing.

The Board of Education will acknowledge the return of the Board to Open Session.

Statement of Executive Session Minutes

Discussion, consideration and action to approve or not approve hiring the attached list of certified teachers for the 2020-2021 school year. 

Discussion, consideration and action to approve or not approve hiring the attached list of teachers on temporary and probationary contracts for the fall semester 2020.

Discussion, consideration and action to approve or not approve the addition of one year to the current Superintendents contract. The approval of this action will contract the current Superintendent through the 2022 - 2023 school year.  

Discussion, consideration and action to approve or not approve hiring the attached list of support personnel.
