12. School Finance and Business

12.1. Discussion and possible action regarding the following encumbrances:

12.2. Discussion and possible action regarding approving a contract with Barlow Education Management Services for School Year 2023-2024.

12.3. Discussion and possible action to terminate all future legal services provided by Jerry Colclazier, Colclazier and Associates, Paul Harris, Kevin Coffey, and Harris and Coffey, PLLC, including any non-litigation matters currently being handled by these attorneys.

12.4. Discussion and possible action to request that Oklahoma Schools Insurance Group (OSIG) change legal counsel from Jerry Colclazier and/or Colclazier and Associates and to reassign all litigation cases covered by OSIG for Western Heights Public Schools to another approved law firm and to direct the Superintendent to notify OSIG of this request.

B.Have confidential communications with the Board's attorney concerning any pending investigation, claim, or action, after the attorney has determined that the disclosure will seriously impair the ability of the Board to process the claim or conduct a pending investigation, or proceeding, pursuant to Title 25 O.S. §307(B)(4). If executive session is authorized by a majority of a quorum of the board members present, convene in executive session to discuss pending litigation against the State Board of Education in Case No. CV-21-945.: |
