2. PUBLIC COMMENT All meetings of the Board of Education shall be open to the public and any regular meeting shall include an opportunity for the public to address the Board. Public Comments are limited to three (3) minutes and must be related to an agenda item or topic. Any individual wishing to address the board of education must communicate to the superintendent by letter per policy BED-R and BED-E. Where several people wish to address the same subject, a spokesperson must be selected. The Board President may interrupt and terminate any comments that are not in accordance with any of these criteria or in keeping with Board Policy BED-R. Board members may not respond to speakers’ comments. See attachment.
