Rationale:
This item ratifies the revised Proclamation and Notice of Election for the bond election on February 14. The original version had an inadvertent typo or "scrivener’s error" that transposed the dollar amounts for the Norman High School and Norman North High School project line items. However, the project language for both sites was correct as shown. Once this was discovered and in the interest of total transparency, the District's Financial Advisor for the Bond, consulted with the Bond Division at the State Attorney General’s office, who ultimately reviews the bond issue proceedings. They advised the board to ratify the revised Proclamation with the corrected dollar amounts for these two project line items and to do so prior to the first newspaper publication. The only revision to the Proclamation is to correct the scrivener’s error noted above. There are no other changes to the Proclamation including to the total amount of the bond election or any other project line item and corresponding dollar amount.
