Open Forum
Recognize Visitors: The Marion ISD Board of Trustees designates a time for audience participation at the beginning of each regular meeting to hear persons who desire to make comments. In accordance with Board Policy BED(LOCAL), those wishing to speak shall sign up before the meeting begins stating the concern or noting the agenda item they wish to address. Audience participation is limited to five minutes, audiences of more than five persons shall appoint a representative, and the Board shall not deliberate any subject not on the posted agenda.

Public Testimony:
Recognize Visitors:  The Marion ISD Board of Trustees designates a time for audience participation at the beginning of each regular meeting to hear persons who desire to make comments on a specific posted agenda item.  Those wishing to speak shall notify the Superintendent or Board President via email 24 hours prior to the start of the scheduled meeting and must indicate in writing the agenda item to be addressed.  Public Testimony is limited to 2 minutes.

Closed Session:  The Marion ISD Board of Trustees will convene in a closed meeting pursuant to the following sections of the Texas Government Codes:

Section 551.074 of the Texas Government Code to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee.

* No final action, decision, or vote will be taken by the Board while in executive session.* Open Session: Consider and take possible action regarding items discussed in closed session.
